Da Ji Group, Shanghai Da Su Motor, and Da Gao Motor actively participated in the 123rd Canton Fair

The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is a comprehensive international trade fair with a long history, high level, large scale, wide range of products, many attendees, and good transaction results. It was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held in Guangzhou twice a year, in spring and autumn. Its English name is Canton Fair.

The company actively participates in the Canton Fair every year, and this year is no exception. The first phase of the 2018 Spring Canton Fair was held from April 15th to 19th at the Pazhou Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, and the company successfully organized its participation in the event.

At this year's exhibition, the company was well-prepared as always, with various promotional posters, brochures, and other promotional materials displayed in the exhibition hall, and product prototypes neatly arranged in the display cabinets. It is particularly noteworthy that in addition to high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency motors, the company also showcased more than 10 newly developed products, such as permanent magnet AC servo motors, self-starting ultra-high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motors, NEMA ultra-high-efficiency 140-440 frame totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) three-phase motors for export to Europe and America, and special motors for woodworking, injection molding machines, and other industries. The products, in terms of both appearance and quality, have reached the advanced level of the industry, attracting many foreign customers to visit and discuss business. Through on-site communication and exchange, our foreign trade department sales elites fully demonstrated the company's scale, strength, and confidence, introducing the company's profile through prototypes and brochures. Foreign customers expressed their praise, some exchanged contact information, some even placed orders on the spot, and many took commemorative photos.

According to statistics, this Canton Fair attracted nearly 200,000 buyers from more than 200 countries and regions. The highlights of this Canton Fair were high efficiency and green technology, intelligent manufacturing, innovation and technology, and quality and service. The transaction volume of the first phase of this year's Canton Fair showed a steady and positive trend. Faced with the decline in domestic cost advantages and trade barriers, participating companies are gradually shifting to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative where the comprehensive cost is more advantageous. Companies are adapting their trade practices to the development strategies and business models of local markets. Exhibitors reported that benefiting from the Belt and Road Initiative, the intended transaction volume from countries along the Belt and Road has continued to rise in recent Canton Fairs. The number of buyers attending this Canton Fair and the willingness to place orders on-site were both higher than in the previous session, especially from emerging markets along the Belt and Road. The number of buyers attending this Canton Fair increased compared to the same period last year, and buyers paid more attention to technologically advanced products with high added value. However, affected by the US's anti-globalization measures, exchange rate fluctuations, and rising raw material prices, buyers tended to be cautious in placing orders, with inquiries and price comparisons becoming the norm. However, in terms of expectations for the export situation in the second quarter, 53.7% of companies expect to achieve growth, up 10.2 percentage points year-on-year. For the entire year of 2018, 56.5% of companies expect to achieve growth, up 0.2 percentage points year-on-year.
