1. First, cut off the power supply to the explosion-proof motor, disconnect the connecting wires between the explosion-proof motor and the power supply, and then insulate the power supply to prevent electric shock.

2. Loosen the pulley and motor coupling. At this time, all the base bolts and grounding bolts can be loosened.

3. Remove the coupling and pulley, then remove the fan cover and fan. If there is dust on the fan cover and blades, clean it promptly.

4. If the explosion-proof motor is a wound-rotor motor, the brush holder, brushes, and leads can be lifted and removed first.

5. End cap and outer cover disassembly order: Remove the outer bearing cover, front end cover, rear bearing outer cover, and rear end cover before disassembly.

6. Remove the main rotor parts, keeping the inside of the rotor clean and free from any bumps.

7. Check if the explosion-proof motor bearings are intact, then remove the front bearing-front bearing inner cover-rear bearing-rear bearing inner cover.

1. Each purchase of explosion-proof motors is a headache. Explosion-proof motors use threaded interfaces, so the thread size is very important because it needs to match the connector of the explosion-proof hose/pipe. Different power and different brands of explosion-proof motors have different interfaces. Each time, we have to wait for the motor to arrive and be tested before we can determine whether the thread size is non-standard. A national standard for the interface of explosion-proof motors is needed, rather than being determined by each manufacturer.

2. Explosion-proof motors prioritize energy saving, which is also a major national policy. Energy conservation and environmental protection are strongly advocated, and this aspect cannot be ignored for explosion-proof motors. The terminals should be crimped, changing the previous screw connection method for convenience and flexibility; good sealing performance, with an arc extinguishing hood inside the interface to prevent electrical sparks caused by motor winding faults from leaking.

3. Currently, the maintenance and wiring installation of explosion-proof motors are not very convenient. If there is a new type of explosion-proof motor that is convenient for maintenance and wiring, that would be great.

4. I think the explosion-proof motor products are relatively single, the structural rationality needs to be improved, and energy saving needs to be developed.
