There are uniform grooves on the outer circle of the silicon steel sheet, which are used for inserting the rotor windings. They are called wire slots. The rotor windings are divided into two types according to the structure. The winding type and the cage type. The winding rotor winding and the stator winding are similar. , The symmetrical three-phase windings are embedded in the rotor core wire trough. The cage-type rotor winding is made of copper or aluminum bars embedded in the rotor wire trough and welded with metal rings at both ends. It is shaped like a cage.
